The above definition of investment was searched on Google and this is what was returned. We at the Ambassadors believe that every dollar given to the Winston-Salem Ambassadors is an investment of the highest caliber.
It’s a gift because it’s the right thing to do; it’s an investment because it’s the smart thing to do.
What do we DO? 1) We help people feel welcome. 2) We connect them to what’s happening in WS. We do that by figuring out what they need, like and want.
Making people feel welcome and connecting them our many treasures is smart. Doing so helps 1) the people as a citizen and tax-payer, it helps 2) the person as an employee or business-person, giving them greater satisfaction in life and more reasons to stay and work harder, it helps 3) the businesses and events thrive by connecting satisfied customers to suitable endeavors.
Making people feel welcome, no matter where they are from, will help our city and will help you. In 2016, more than $846 MILLION dollars were spent in tourism dollars in Forsyth County. Imagine if these visitors felt so welcome here that they came back every year, or even relocated here.
Are you a donor? Absolutely. We appreciate your gift. But more than that, you are an investor and we appreciate your foresight and intelligence. It’s exactly people like you that make Winston-Salem the city of the future.
